Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Madonna And Child Enthroned With Two Angels by Giovanni di ser Giovanni Guidi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 71,500.00 (€ 56,441.43), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni di ser Giovanni Guidi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Story of Coriolanus: a cassone front in January 2024 with an auction result of USD 1,562,500.00 (€ 1,365,582.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Madonna And Child Enthroned With Two Angels von Giovanni di ser Giovanni Guidi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 71.500,00 (€ 56.441,43) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni di ser Giovanni Guidi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Story of Coriolanus: a cassone front im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.562.500,00 (€ 1.365.582,94).
