In December 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fabrizio Moretti x Fabrizio Moretti | In Passing, which included the work Two Boys At Play, A Desco Da Parto by Giovanni di ser Giovanni Guidi. The price achieved of USD 262,500.00 (€ 233,811.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni di ser Giovanni Guidi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Story of Coriolanus: a cassone front in January 2024 with an auction result of USD 1,562,500.00 (€ 1,365,582.94).
