Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Schizzo di balcone a Venezia by Giovanni Boldini was sold in the 19th Century and British Impressionist Art auction at Bonhams in New York in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 12,800.00 (€ 12,800.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Boldini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian portrait Of Giovinetta Errazuriz in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 6,578,500.00 (€ 5,046,409.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Schizzo di balcone a Venezia von Giovanni Boldini wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.800,00 (€ 12.800,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Boldini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian portrait Of Giovinetta Errazuriz im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.578.500,00 (€ 5.046.409,94).
