Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Giovanni Boldini achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September last year. In the 19th Century and British Impressionist Art auction, the work Al caffè sold for GBP 38,100.00 (€ 43,361.48) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Boldini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian portrait Of Giovinetta Errazuriz in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 6,578,500.00 (€ 5,046,409.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Boldini erzielte im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art wurde die Arbeit Al caffè für GBP 38.100,00 (€ 43.361,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Boldini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian portrait Of Giovinetta Errazuriz im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.578.500,00 (€ 5.046.409,94).
