Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Elégante Vue De Face by Giovanni Boldini was sold in the Oeuvres sur Papier auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2020. The result of EUR 5,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Boldini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian portrait Of Giovinetta Errazuriz in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 6,578,500.00 (€ 5,046,409.94).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Elégante Vue De Face von Giovanni Boldini wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Oeuvres sur Papier bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Boldini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian portrait Of Giovinetta Errazuriz im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.578.500,00 (€ 5.046.409,94).
