Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giovanni Boldini could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Oeuvres sur Papier auction, the work Elégante Au Chapeau changed hands for EUR 3,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Boldini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian portrait Of Giovinetta Errazuriz in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 6,578,500.00 (€ 5,046,409.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Boldini konnte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Oeuvres sur Papier wechselte die Arbeit Elégante Au Chapeau für EUR 3.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Boldini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian portrait Of Giovinetta Errazuriz im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.578.500,00 (€ 5.046.409,94).
