Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Sheet Of Studies Of Hands, A Foot And The Head Of A Bearded Man by Giovanni Battista Gaulli for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,101.35). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Gaulli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Lady, Head And Shoulders in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 569,000.00 (€ 421,481.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sheet Of Studies Of Hands, A Foot And The Head Of A Bearded Man von Giovanni Battista Gaulli für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.101,35) erwerben.
