In the Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures auction, the work Allégorie Du Printemps sold for EUR 7,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Gaulli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Lady, Head And Shoulders in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 569,000.00 (€ 421,481.48).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Battista Gaulli erzielte im März 2014 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures wurde die Arbeit Allégorie Du Printemps für EUR 7.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Gaulli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Head And Shoulders im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 569.000,00 (€ 421.481,48).
