Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Giovanni Battista Franco achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in March 2007. In the Une Collection Privée de Dessins: 1500-1900 auction, the work Un couple nu avec un enfant sold for EUR 3,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Franco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deux Études De Squelettes in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 250,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Battista Franco erzielte im März 2007 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Une Collection Privée de Dessins: 1500-1900 wurde die Arbeit Un couple nu avec un enfant für EUR 3.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Franco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Deux Études De Squelettes im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 250.000,00.
