Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Evening Sale, which included this untitled work by Giovanni Anselmo. The price achieved of USD 509,000.00 (€ 481,916.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Anselmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torsione in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 6,437,000.00 (€ 5,855,011.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Evening Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Giovanni Anselmo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 509.000,00 (€ 481.916,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Anselmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torsione im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.437.000,00 (€ 5.855.011,82).
