Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Resurrection With Saints Andrew, John The Baptist, Cosmas And Damian by Giorgio Vasari was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 56,250.00 (€ 49,822.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio Vasari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Pietà in January 2000 with an auction result of USD 574,500.00 (€ 588,808.04).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 49.822,85) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
