In April last year Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Auction, which included the work Verticale by Giorgio Griffa. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 31,500.00 43% above the upper estimate. Other works by Giorgio Griffa have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 47,880.00 in April last year for the work Verticale.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Verticale von Giorgio Griffa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 31.500,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Griffa haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.880,00 im April letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Verticale beobachtet.
