Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Arabesco rosso -1985 by Giorgio Griffa was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 9,184.00. Admittedly, works by Giorgio Griffa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Verticale in April last year with an auction result of EUR 47,880.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Arabesco rosso -1985 von Giorgio Griffa kam im April diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 9.184,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giorgio Griffa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Verticale im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.880,00.
