This artwork by Giorgio Griffa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in December 2021. In the Contemporary Art | Milan auction, the work Senza titolo sold for EUR 37,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giorgio Griffa; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Verticale sold at auction in April last year with the realized price of EUR 47,880.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giorgio Griffa erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan wurde die Arbeit Senza titolo für EUR 37.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Giorgio Griffa; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Verticale im April letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 47.880,00.
