It achieved a price of EUR 22,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giorgio Griffa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Verticale, which sold at auction in April last year for EUR 47,880.00.

Die Arbeit Segni orizzontali von Giorgio Griffa wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 22.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Griffa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Verticale beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für EUR 47.880,00 versteigert wurde.
