Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Trittico del Duomo 1 by Giorgio Belloni was auctioned at Il Ponte in June 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio Belloni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Italian Village on a Lake in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 47,800.00 (€ 37,501.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Trittico del Duomo 1 von Giorgio Belloni im Juni 2021 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.600,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Belloni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Italian Village on a Lake im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.800,00 (€ 37.501,96).
