In December 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo, which included the work Marina by Giorgio Belloni. The auction ended at the price of EUR 700.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio Belloni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Italian Village on a Lake in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 47,800.00 (€ 37,501.96).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marina von Giorgio Belloni zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 700,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Belloni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Italian Village on a Lake im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.800,00 (€ 37.501,96).
