The work Marina Al Chiaro Di Luna by Giorgio Belloni was sold in the 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture auction at Sothebys in Milan in June 2008. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Giorgio Belloni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Italian Village on a Lake in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 47,800.00 (€ 37,501.96).

Die Arbeit Marina Al Chiaro Di Luna von Giorgio Belloni wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giorgio Belloni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Italian Village on a Lake im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.800,00 (€ 37.501,96).
