Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June last year Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Marina by Giorgio Belloni. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,400.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio Belloni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Italian Village on a Lake in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 47,800.00 (€ 37,501.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marina von Giorgio Belloni zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.400,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Belloni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Italian Village on a Lake im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.800,00 (€ 37.501,96).
