Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Giorgio Belloni achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in December 2007. In the 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Marina sold for EUR 12,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giorgio Belloni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Italian Village on a Lake, which sold at auction in October 2004 for USD 47,800.00 (€ 37,501.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giorgio Belloni erzielte im Dezember 2007 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures wurde die Arbeit Marina für EUR 12.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Belloni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Italian Village on a Lake beobachtet, die im Oktober 2004 für USD 47.800,00 (€ 37.501,96) versteigert wurde.
