Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nuvola by Gino Marotta was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2013. The price achieved of EUR 6,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gino Marotta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Struzzo, which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nuvola von Gino Marotta kam im November 2013 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gino Marotta mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Struzzo beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
