Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Albero by Gino Marotta for EUR 900.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gino Marotta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Struzzo in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Albero von Gino Marotta für EUR 900,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gino Marotta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Struzzo im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
