A top price for Gino Marotta
The work Struzzo by Gino Marotta was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 12,500.00. With this result, Struzzo is even the most expensive work of art by Gino Marotta that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Struzzo von Gino Marotta wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 12.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Struzzo sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gino Marotta, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
