Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Enfants Au Bord De L'Eau - 1943 by Ginés Parra was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art including École de Paris 1905-1939 auction at Artcurial in April 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ginés Parra achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Landscape in February 2012 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,835.73).

Die Arbeit Enfants Au Bord De L'Eau - 1943 von Ginés Parra wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art including École de Paris 1905-1939 bei Artcurial versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ginés Parra erzielen.
