Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London, which included the work Laure (Detail of the Action Laure, realized at Galerie Isy Brachot, Brussels, on April 28, 1977) by Gina Pane. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,501.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gina Pane achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Action Psyché in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 60,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Laure (Detail of the Action Laure, realized at Galerie Isy Brachot, Brussels, on April 28, 1977) von Gina Pane zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.501,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gina Pane erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Action Psyché im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 60.000,00.
