In June 2019 Christies in Paris held the auction COLLECTION ANNE TRONCHE - La forme d'un regard, which included the work Moment de l'action mélancolique 2 x 2 x 2, Naples, 1974 by Gina Pane. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,750.00 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gina Pane achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Action Psyché in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 60,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion COLLECTION ANNE TRONCHE - La forme d'un regard durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moment de l'action mélancolique 2 x 2 x 2, Naples, 1974 von Gina Pane zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.750,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gina Pane erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Action Psyché im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 60.000,00.
