Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Christies held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Grillin' by Gina Beavers. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,923.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gina Beavers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lips with Painter’s Lips in June last year with an auction result of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 39,866.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grillin' von Gina Beavers zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.923,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gina Beavers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lips with Painter’s Lips im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 39.866,50).
