The work Lips with Painter’s Lips by Gina Beavers was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 327,600.00 (€ 39,866.50). With this result, Lips with Painter’s Lips is even the most expensive work of art by Gina Beavers that we have observed at auctions so far.
