Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Piñata by Gillian Carnegie was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,762.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gillian Carnegie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prince in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 74,008.77).
