Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work River landscape by Gilbert Gaul was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 17,000.00 (€ 1,523.93). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gilbert Gaul achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Song Of Victory in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 146,500.00 (€ 118,441.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit River landscape von Gilbert Gaul kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 17.000,00 (€ 1.523,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gilbert Gaul erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Song Of Victory im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 146.500,00 (€ 118.441,26).
