Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gian Paolo Barbieri could be acquired at Il Ponte in June 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fotografia auction, the work Tahiti tattoo 1989 changed hands for EUR 1,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,600.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Gian Paolo Barbieri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jill Kennington in Missoni, Port Sudan in June last year with an auction result of EUR 12,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gian Paolo Barbieri konnte im Juni 2019 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fotografia wechselte die Arbeit Tahiti tattoo 1989 für EUR 1.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.600,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gian Paolo Barbieri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jill Kennington in Missoni, Port Sudan im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.600,00.
