Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Christies in Milan held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II, which included the work Monica Bellucci by Gian Paolo Barbieri. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,300.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Gian Paolo Barbieri have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June last year the work Jill Kennington in Missoni, Port Sudan was auctioned for EUR 12,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monica Bellucci von Gian Paolo Barbieri zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.300,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Gian Paolo Barbieri konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni letzten Jahres die Arbeit Jill Kennington in Missoni, Port Sudan für EUR 12.600,00 versteigert.
