In November 2011 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Variation On Red #2 by Gershon Iskowitz. The »bidding war« ended at CAD 42,000.00 (€ 30,607.89), 40% above the upper estimate. Other works by Gershon Iskowitz have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of CAD 60,000.00 (€ 46,023.92) in June 2010 for the work Sextet.

Im November 2011 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Variation On Red #2 von Gershon Iskowitz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CAD 42.000,00 (€ 30.607,89) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Gershon Iskowitz haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von CAD 60.000,00 (€ 46.023,92) im Juni 2010 für die Arbeit Sextet beobachtet.
