Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art, which included the work A ham on a pewter plate, a peeled lemon, various jugs and glasses, all on a partially draped table by Gerrit van Vucht. It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gerrit van Vucht have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Still Life With Smoking Attributes Such As Pipes And A Burner; And A Still Life With A Wine Glass And Sliced Herring On A Plate in April 2020 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,510.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A ham on a pewter plate, a peeled lemon, various jugs and glasses, all on a partially draped table von Gerrit van Vucht zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 4.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerrit van Vucht auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Still Life With Smoking Attributes Such As Pipes And A Burner; And A Still Life With A Wine Glass And Sliced Herring On A Plate im April 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 34.510,27).
