In the Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners auction, the work Still-Life With Tric-Trac Game And Various Tableware All Atop A Wooden Table, A Stool With Smoking Materials To The Left, Two Chairs And A Cello To The Right sold for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,925.72) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerrit van Vucht - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Still Life With Smoking Attributes Such As Pipes And A Burner; And A Still Life With A Wine Glass And Sliced Herring On A Plate, which sold at auction in April 2020 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,510.27).
