Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Fries merenlandschap by Gerrit Benner for EUR 18,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction A European Corporate Collection at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerrit Benner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zomers Landschap, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 72,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fries merenlandschap von Gerrit Benner für EUR 18.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion A European Corporate Collection bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gerrit Benner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zomers Landschap beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 72.250,00 versteigert wurde.
