Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fries landschap by Gerrit Benner was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 30,000.00 – 5,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 37,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Gerrit Benner have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2007 the work Zomers Landschap was auctioned for EUR 72,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fries landschap von Gerrit Benner wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 37.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Gerrit Benner konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2007 die Arbeit Zomers Landschap für EUR 72.250,00 versteigert.
