In January 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings Including European Works of Art, which included the work Study Of White Peonies by Gerard van Spaendonck. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 26,952.36), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerard van Spaendonck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life Of Roses, Hyacinth, Wallflower And Other Flowers In A Lapis Lazuli Vase; Still Life Of Narcissus, Hyacinth And Other Flowers In A Brown Porphyry Vase in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,261,946.63).

Im Januar 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings Including European Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study Of White Peonies von Gerard van Spaendonck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 26.952,36) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerard van Spaendonck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life Of Roses, Hyacinth, Wallflower And Other Flowers In A Lapis Lazuli Vase; Still Life Of Narcissus, Hyacinth And Other Flowers In A Brown Porphyry Vase im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.261.946,63).
