It achieved a price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,336.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Gerald Leslie Brockhurst have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vanity in June last year with an auction result of GBP 176,400.00 (€ 204,926.62).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.336,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerald Leslie Brockhurst auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vanity im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 176.400,00 (€ 204.926,62).
