In June 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Champs mûrs by Ger Lataster. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,625.00 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ger Lataster have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,987.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Champs mûrs von Ger Lataster zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.625,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ger Lataster auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 44.987,15).
