Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale, which included the work Salted Fish and Wine Jar by Georgette Chen. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 8,190,000.00 (€ 961,056.11), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Georgette Chen have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 14,290,000.00 (€ 1,712,814.91) in May this year for the work Still Life with Big Durian.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Salted Fish and Wine Jar von Georgette Chen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 8.190.000,00 (€ 961.056,11) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Georgette Chen haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.290.000,00 (€ 1.712.814,91) im Mai diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Still Life with Big Durian beobachtet.
