In the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale auction, the work Still Life with Big Durian sold for HKD 14,290,000.00 (€ 1,712,814.91) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000,000.00. This high result makes Still Life with Big Durian the most expensive artwork by Georgette Chen that we have observed at auctions so far.
