Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in December 2007. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work Dieu A Bicyclette sold for EUR 50,650.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Comédien sold at auction in December 2011 with the realized price of EUR 78,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes erzielte im Dezember 2007 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Dieu A Bicyclette für EUR 50.650,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Comédien im Dezember 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 78.750,00.
