Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mousseaux Sur Seine by Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,362.70). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elégante dans un jardin, which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,638.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mousseaux Sur Seine von Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.362,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elégante dans un jardin beobachtet, die im November 2018 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.638,17) versteigert wurde.
