Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Nu Assis by Georges Kars. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,460.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Kars achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reiter und Flaneure im Park in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 97,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nu Assis von Georges Kars zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.460,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Kars erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reiter und Flaneure im Park im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 97.600,00.
