This artwork by Georges Kars achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in April 2018. In the Spring Sale auction, the work Couple sold for EUR 104.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 50.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Kars achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reiter und Flaneure im Park in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 97,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Kars erzielte im April 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit Couple für EUR 104,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 50,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Kars erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reiter und Flaneure im Park im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 97.600,00.
