Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Cueillette des pommes by Georges d' Espagnat was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,930.00 (€ 5,849.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges d' Espagnat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Rochers Rouges - Circa 1901 in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 336,600.00.

Die Arbeit La Cueillette des pommes von Georges d' Espagnat kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.930,00 (€ 5.849,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges d' Espagnat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Rochers Rouges - Circa 1901 im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 336.600,00.
