Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by George Wright could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art including Important British Paintings auction, the work British The Tired Team changed hands for USD 11,250.00 (€ 7,624.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Wright - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Casting About; And Gone To Earth, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,363.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von George Wright konnte im Oktober 2009 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
