Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 30,750.00 (€ 18,430.50) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by George Washington Lambert have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2003 the work Miss Alison Preston was auctioned for AUD 44,650.00 (€ 26,935.17).
