Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Haddon Hall by George Turner was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2010. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,256.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Turner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Scotch Ford, Ben Voirlich in the Distance, which sold at auction in June 2000 for GBP 10,222.50 (€ 16,203.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Haddon Hall von George Turner kam im Juni 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.256,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von George Turner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Scotch Ford, Ben Voirlich in the Distance beobachtet, die im Juni 2000 für GBP 10.222,50 (€ 16.203,92) versteigert wurde.
