Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Haddon Hall by George Turner was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2010. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,256.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Turner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Scotch Ford, Ben Voirlich in the Distance, which sold at auction in June 2000 for GBP 10,222.50 (€ 16,203.92).
